Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP) - Cohort 1 (English)
This is a FREE program providing TRAINING and support to individuals interested in starting a family childcare home business.
The CCIP program is a state-funded focused on increasing the number of licensed, quality family childcare providers. If you enjoy caring for young children and want to work from home, family childcare could be a great career choice. This is a FREE program providing training and support to individuals interested in starting a family childcare home business. You will have to opportunity to earn incentives such as resource books and health and safety supplies you may need to become licensed. Some important details are:
- Registration for one cohort is required
- Santa Clara County residents only
- Training will be held virtually using Zoom
- Each cohort includes six training days

Day 1: Tues., Sept. 8, Sept. 10:00AM-1:00PM****
Day 2: Wed., Sept. 9, 11:30 AM-2:00PM
Day 3: Tues., Sept. 15, 10:00 AM-12:30PM
Day 4: Wed, Sept. 16, 10:00 AM-12:30PM
Day 5: Tues., Sept. 22, 10:00 AM-12:30PM
Day 6: Wed, Sept. 23, 10:00 AM-12:30PM
Material Pick Up: Saturday, September 26, 9AM-12PM
*** Day 1 is mandatory to be enrolled in the cohort, this session is also 30 min. longer than the rest
