Mud City Blues Featuring Arthur Bishop

Mud City Blues Featuring Arthur Bishop

Overview

Guests will spend the night surrounded by the sound of live saxophone from Arthur Bishop as blues music moves through the speakeasy.

Before downtown Toledo went quiet after dark, blues and jazz once drifted through hidden rooms, back alleys, riverfront warehouses, and late-night gathering spaces across the city. During the prohibition era, music became part of the heartbeat of Toledo nightlife: soulful, smoky, and intimate. Mud City Blues at Toledo’s Share is inspired by that atmosphere.

For one evening, the speakeasy transforms into a candlelit blues room where dim lighting, great wine, conversation, and live music come together to recreate a piece of that historic energy. Guests will spend the night surrounded by the sound of live saxophone from Arthur Bishop as blues music moves through the space the way it once did throughout the city decades ago.

Designed to feel intimate rather than crowded, Mud City Blues is less about performance and more about atmosphere. It is a night meant to be experienced slowly, with a glass of wine in hand and nowhere else to be. Limited reservations available.
