This month, noonjeem is grooving us into the night with mesmerizing music and vocals.
Ahmed Hegazy is a singer-songwriter, music producer, and performer who grew up in Cairo, Egypt and is based in Toronto, Ontario.
Under the moniker of noonjeem, he writes and produces his own music, and performs it across the city. His debut EP, The Orchids Are Blooming! received praise from Toronto's The Grind. In it, he splices soulful vocals with experimental electronic production. Since its release, he has performed at events across the city including Long Winter, Audiopollination, and FUFA, and shared lineups with Vivek Shraya, Janice Jo Lee and the QTs, and Bahar Atish.
