Exploring Wine Quality: What Makes A Wine Exceptional?
A hands-on wine tasting comparing everyday wine with premium wine
Join us for a fun, participatory afternoon investigating what is special about fancy, high-priced bottles. In this interactive session, we will compare no-frills table wines with their more upscale cousins to collectively answer the question: What are you getting when you pay extra bucks?
During the class, we will sample six different wines: two whites and four reds. Three will be everyday bottles ($15 or less) and three will be special-occasion splurges ($25 and up). We’ll share our impressions as a group and compare our findings with the broader consensus of wine experts and online reviews.
Whether you want to refine your palate or just taste some interesting bottles, come ready for a stimulating time filled with good wine and great laughs!
Suggested donation: $25. Because of limited space, participation will be limited to 35 people.
