An Experiential Introduction To Tension and Trauma Release Exercises (TRE)

Overview

Experience this nonverbal approach to unburdening your body of the stored tension for yourself! Come learn if your clients might benefit too

Do you have clients who have experienced trauma and are not progressing in talk therapy? Clients who you can see are holding built up stress and tension in their bodies? Come learn about TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises)!

When we watch dogs involuntarily "shake it out" after a fight, we are witnessing the body's organic means of unburdening itself of the sort of stress that builds into those patterns of reactivity and somatic weight. TRE safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, and Lovella Calica has been helping her clients using this modality for over a decade. On July 17th from 2-5pm at the Broadmoor Arts and Wellness Center, Lovella will be leading us in an Experiential Introduction to TRE. Because why would you recommend something to your clients that you haven't experienced yourself?

Even if you don't have clients in mind as you read this email, you could come and get a full group session of somatic release, while also getting CEUs!!! And you don't even need to say a word. Think of this as self-care and education.

Still not convinced? Check out this gushing testimonial about doing TRE work with Lovella: "TRE allowed me to see for myself the natural built-up tensions I had in my body and how through these exercises my body released them. It gave space for my own whole body to work and release all that stress, anxiety and tension - something I never did before."
