The Intrepid Museum offers Access Family Programs for teens and adults with developmental disabilities and their families and friends!
Access Family Programs (Teens & Adults)
The Intrepid Museum offers programs for teens and adults with developmental disabilities and their families on select Sundays during regular Museum hours. Families can participate in hands-on activities, enjoy a light snack, and take an inclusive guided tour of the Museum. A separate program for children is offered in the morning. Families receive a social narrative and visual vocabulary and schedule in advance.
Sail-A-Bration!
Discover how crew members aboard Intrepid celebrated special occasions with their shipmates while far from home. This program highlights U.S. Navy traditions and invites families to share their own meaningful traditions!
Check-in begins at 1:30pm.
Looking for a program for younger visitors? A similar program will be offered from 11:00am to 1:00pm for children under 17 with developmental disabilities and their families. Register for the children's program here.
