A 7-week online course to boost your insect ID skills and prep for the Great Southeast Pollinator Census. Learn from the experts!

<h3>Great Southeast Pollinator Course — Online via Zoom</h3><h3>NEW ATTENDEES ONLY!</h3> For those who are joining us after we have launched the course but would still like to join us for the remaining classes, this is where you register! You can catch up on any of the classes you missed by viewing the recordings. Make plans to join us together online for the remaining classes! If you have already paid, you are in our database so please don't register again! The opportunity to increase your insect knowledge and upgrade your Great Southeast Pollinator Census counting skills. Learn with the experts — from the comfort of your own home!This is an online course. All sessions are delivered via Zoom webinar. A Zoom link will be sent to registered participants before the first session.The Great Southeast Pollinator Course is a seven-week webinar series running Tuesday, June 16th through Tuesday, July 28th. Sessions are weekly from 3:00–4:30 p.m. EDT and will be recorded for those who can't make it live.Please know that when signing up, you are committing to the entire course.DATES AND TOPICS:<ol><li>Tuesday, June 16th — Welcome and Carpenter Bees</li><li>Tuesday, June 23rd — Bumble Bees</li><li>Tuesday, June 30th — Butterflies</li><li>Tuesday, July 7th — Small Bees</li><li>Tuesday, July 14th — Honey Bees</li><li>Tuesday, July 21st — Flies and Wasps</li><li>Tuesday, July 28th — Other Insects — Beetles and Course Wrap-Up</li></ol>COST: $50, plus the commitment that you will lead, assist, or participate in a Great Southeast Pollinator Census event this year, August 21st or 22nd, 2026, if you live in one of the Census states (Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, or Alabama). If you live outside the Southeast, please join us for just the course fee. Should the $50.00 fee present a hardship, please email Becky Griffin at beckygri@uga.edu.
