Whether you are a curious beginner or a seasoned connoisseur, this exclusive tasting event will deepen your appreciation for the artistry behind artisanally crafted tequila and mezcal. Guided by Susan Coss, a mezcal educator and advocate, you will explore the distinct differences between tequila and its smoky cousin, mezcal. Learn about the traditional harvesting of agave plants, the impact of regional terroir on flavor profiles, and the intricate distillation processes that shape each unique spirit.

This $85 ticket includes a seated VIP program (from 5:15-6pm), a collectible tasting glass, premium artisanally tequila & mezcal tastings at unique downtown locations, delicious bites at some host locations prepared by local chefs and a commemorative guide. Tickets are limited, the price increases to $95 after September 20th, if not sold out.

After the VIP session join the Tequila & Mezcal Stroll (6:00-9:00pm) and walk around downtown Alameda to sample tequilas, mezcals and agave spirits from local and artisanal brands.
