We're living through a quiet experiment: companionship and emotional support have quickly become one of the most common reasons people turn to AI, and millions are now confiding in chatbots the way they'd confide in a friend, partner, or parent. What does that do to us? We'll cover the basics of attachment (the system that shapes who we trust and lean on), how AI companions tap into it, who's at risk, warning signs, and how to identify if someone is leaning on AI a little too much. After a short presentation, we’ll have a facilitated group discussion.
