What to wear/bring to the event

Attendees should wear comfortable attire and bring a yoga mat, water bottle, notepad, pen, blanket, bolster and an eye mask. For your convenience, eye masks and yoga mats will be available for purchase or rental at the venue.

What is the purpose of the event?

To holistically empower the Black community, combining physical, mental, and spiritual wellness practices with community support.

What is sound healing and breath work?

Accepted Answer

Sound healing and breath work are forms of experiential therapy. Science shows that specific sound frequencies and breathing patterns can release stress, anxiety and even trauma from the body. We use those to heal our community.

Do you have to be religious?

Although many of our participants have some religious background and many churches allow us to use their spaces, this is not a religious event. This is for those who identify as black and are pursuing holistic wellness.

I am not Black, can I still participate?

Our session is open to Black folks and to those who love Black folks.
