The Jamaica Plain Arts Council invites registered artists participating in JP Open Studios 2026 to a free in-person interactive workshop. Designed to cater to any skill or professional level, this workshop is a great way to get ready not just for JP Open Studios, but all the methods you can use to share your art with the public. Meet other local artists while learning how to better manage the business side of your creativity. It will be informative, encouraging, and a lot of fun!This workshop is perfect for artists who are fairly new at publicly displaying and selling their work, or for those who feel they could use some refreshers. The workshop will cover all you need to know to make any weekend art event a successful experience for both you and your customers. A full-time JP artist with years of experience showing and selling art, I will help you create your Open Studio strategy. Time will be allotted for peer-based discussion, and Q&amp;A, so that every artist can gain a personalized plan to prepare for JP Open Studios weekend.A little about me: I am Anna Koon, a Jamaica Plain-based artist with a sustainable creative career. I love having the opportunity to meet and work with fellow Makers!All skill and professional levels are welcome. The event is free to artists participating in JP Open Studios 2026. Information regarding location and what to bring with you to the workshop will be provided. The workshop includes take-home materials for further review.All artists must register in advance for the workshop. No walk-ins. Registration ends Saturday 7/25 @ 8pm to allow time to prepare.
