The first Wild Table Gathering has arrived.

Inspired by Shakespeare’s magical play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream transforms the forests of Eklutna Valley into a midsummer woodland unlike anything you have experienced. Lantern light dancing through the boughs, long tables dressed in woodland florals, a feast worthy of an enchanted night, and forest fairies who may or may not have had a hand in every last detail. Where magic and nature intertwine, and every bite is a dream.

This is a story you accidentally stepped into.

The Evening

6:00 PM — Arrival & Woodland Cocktail Hour

Upon your arrival at BlueWater BaseCamp, you will be welcomed under the Alaska sky. A complimentary cocktail or mocktail starts the evening in the forest. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres crafted from fresh, locally sourced Alaska ingredients, and a bar with curated beverages designed for the evening.


7:00 PM — Dinner at the Wild Table

Settle in at the beautifully designed gathering place, set around the theme of the evening and surrounded by the forests surrounding BlueWater BaseCamp. Chef Lamar will step forward and walk you through the menu as the first course arrives. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine poured as the meal begins. A three course feast unfolds — each dish thoughtfully built around the season, the story, and the land that surrounds your table. The bar is available all evening for additional drinks.


After Dinner — The Fire Closes the night

As the meal closes, the evening moves deeper into the forest. Guests gather around the fire, drinks still in hand, as the night finds its slowest, most beautiful pace. The curated bar remains open until 9:00 PM, and the conversations continue long into the Alaska night. The evening winds down naturally around 10:00 PM.

Tickets with lodging include check-in at 4pm so you can prep on-site for the event.

Chef Lamar Sloss is the owner and chef-operator of Fromagio’s Artisan Cheese in Anchorage. With more than a decade in the culinary world, he has built a reputation for pairing world-class flavors with the wild bounty of Alaska — celebrating local ingredients through food that is thoughtful, creative, and deeply rooted in this place. His passion for creating memorable gatherings and his deep appreciation for the Alaskan landscape make him a natural fit for a table set deep in the forest.
