Location: Corporate College East, Room 126
Join Cuyahoga Community College’s (Tri-C) Center for the Future of Work at the inaugural Future of Work Conference — a landmark half-day event on Oct. 6, at Tri-C’s Corporate College East, designed to equip Northeast Ohio’s educators and employers with the perspectives and partnerships needed to meet these challenges head-on.
Hear from three nationally recognized voices shaping the future of work:
Paul Fain, founder of Work Shift and leading workforce journalist
Lisa McIntyre-Hite, COO of the Competency-Based Education Network
Yustina Saleh, Ph.D., Vice President of Innovation at the Burning Glass Institute
Together, they bring the data, policy, and practice perspectives that matter most.
About the Conference:
The global workforce is on the brink of massive structural changes — AI job displacement, rapidly evolving skill needs, strained talent and supply pipelines, and a demographic cliff are changing the way employers and higher education prepare for the future of work. But new challenges present new opportunities for those willing to be proactive.
College administrators must prepare for the future of work without a clear picture of those needs — and waiting for clarity only delays preparedness. Faculty face the challenge of adapting their curriculum to meet changing societal expectations and workplace demands. Employers, meanwhile, must contend with a workforce requiring upskilling, hiring pipelines strained by demographic shortfalls, and an urgent need for strong regional partnerships to navigate it all.
Northeast Ohio isn't going to wait for the future of work to happen. Come ready to engage, learn and shape what comes next.
