Headliner, Gene Farris, delivering two hours of deep grooves
A global ambassador of Chicago house music sound, Gene Farris has contributed to the evolving house and techno culture of this century. In the early 90s, he played the legendary underground warehouse parties in Chicago and has DJed in over 42 countries around the globe, which solidified his career behind the decks. In 1994, Gene hit the studio with a profound sense of innovation and audio brilliance. As a self-taught engineer and producer, Gene Farris has put out 7 albums and over 200 releases in a 30-year span and shows no signs of slowing down. Gene Farris is the true definition of a legend! He also started his own label, Farris Wheel Recordings. Farris Wheel takes pride in discovering new talent from Chicago and around the world, such as the now-global giant John Summit, who released some of his early tracks on Farris Wheel. As well as Sonny Fodera, J Worra, Cajmere aka Green Velvet, Will Clarke, Gawp, Tim Baresko, Amine Edge & Dance, Crusy, Miss Dre, and many other hot new artists.
