A Call to Women of Color 2026

Overview

Celebrating 20 Years of Sisterhood!

For the first time ever, we are hosting a full weekend of amazing events to honor 20 years of community and sisterhood. Please join us!

Incredible women. Incredible vision. Incredible sisterhood.

A Call to Women of Color (ACTWOC) is an annual event that focuses on empowering women of color to engage in conversation and to promote healthy living among women.

What is the secret to our success?

It’s simple: ACTWOC is organized by women of color for women of color. Together we can make great things happen.

This year, we are proud to be celebrating 20 YEARS of Sisterhood with a full weekend of programming!

  • Friday, September 11: Screening of the film "Me Period" at The Little Theater, with a talkback after with the film's director Lisa Cunningham ($20)
  • Saturday, September 12: The 20th Annual "A Call to Women of Color" Social Gathering at Genesee Valley Park (FREE!)
  • Sunday, September 13: The first-ever ACTWOC Little Black Dress Event at La Luna in High Falls ($20)...with additional performers and speakers to be announced in the coming weeks!

We are also offering a VIP Experience Multi-Day Pass that includes all three events, a free ACTWOC T-shirt, and a private reception with film director Lisa Cunningham before the film on Friday!

NOTE: This is a multi-day event. Please select tickets for each day you plan to attend, OR choose the VIP Experience Multi-Day Pass for full access.
