DC-AAPOR & WSS 2026 Review Preview

We know you can’t attend every conference, so DC-AAPOR and WSS are teaming up once again to bring you exemplary presentations from the local research community.

Register for the conference:

Conference registration includes all-day access to the conference and light snacks and refreshments. Lunch is on your own as there are many fantastic options nearby. Following the conference, please join us for happy hour, location to be announced.

Please note that if you register as a presenter and your abstract is not accepted, you will be invoiced for the difference in the price and your registration.

If you would like to submit a presentation or poster for consideration and haven't done so yet, please fill out the following form:

2026 Review Preview Abstract Submission

Submissions close on Friday, August 14th. Individuals will be notified of acceptance decisions by August 19th.

We invite anyone to submit an abstract for an oral presentation or poster of research never previously presented, or presented at one of the conferences below in the last year:

• American Association for Public Opinion Research Conference
• Joint Statistical Meetings
• World Association for Public Opinion Research
• International Statistical Institute World Statistics Congress
• International Field Directors and Technologies Conference
• Federal Committee on Statistical Methodology
• Federal Computer Assisted Survey Information Collection (FedCASIC) Workshop
• Data user group meetings or conferences, like the NCES Data Users Group or the Association of Public Data Users
• First Workshop on Bridging NLP and Public Opinion Research
• Small Area Estimation Conference
• Any other statistics and survey methodology conferences or workshops
