Overview of the harms associated with Image Performance Enhancing Drugs
Image and Performance Enhancing Drugs (IPEDs) training provides professionals with a brief overview of the harms associated with substances used to modify physical appearance or boost athletic ability.
Participants will learn about the types of performance and image-enhancing drugs that can be used (e.g. steroid and peptides), the populations that may use them and why they use these substances. As well as approaches to working more effectively with people who use these substances. This includes harm reduction information and support pathways. It also includes information on the current climate of IPEDS as it's a quickly evolving field.
Likewise is the city’s adult alcohol and drug service. We provide training on a range of issues, including:
