The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church

The Brooklyn Opera House, built in 1911 as a performance venue, was renovated by Brooklyn Community Development and reopened in 2020. The much-loved building again hosts live events, movies, weddings and performances.

Somewhere in the sticks of Virginia in 1977, a torrential rainstorm is causing floods. Despite the weather, the dedicated women of the charitable sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church show up to sort through donations for the relief effort in Guatemala. But as the day goes on and the rain comes down, laughs are shared, relationships develop, and secrets are spilled. Any fees associated with the ticket purchase may be retained. Tickets purchased with a credit card, will be refunded on the original card used to purchase the tickets. Lost or stolen tickets will be reprinted at the ticket managers discretion after the purchase is verified.
