N.C. Cooperative Extension | Durham County

Extension Master Gardener volunteers are trained to help connect North Carolinians with the vast reservoir of horticultural knowledge and research developed at NC State University and North Carolina A&amp;T University. Our program connects you with a network of enthusiastic gardeners, research-based information, and so many ways to share your love of gardening to help our community grow. Program Requirements:<ul><li>Complete Initial Training, Thursdays 9am-12:30pm, January-May 2027 at the Durham County Cooperative Extension office</li><li>Volunteer 40 hours annually</li><li>Continue the journey through ongoing education classes</li></ul>Join us to learn more about the program and receive your application for the spring 2027 Initial Training class. Attendance at an information session is required to apply.
