Question 1

Do I need any dance experience to join?

Accepted Answer

No! Our classes are beginner-friendly. Instructors break everything down step by step, so you’ll feel comfortable whether it’s your first time dancing or you’ve been dancing for years.

Question 2

Do I need to bring a partner?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. Many people come solo, and we rotate partners in class. If you bring a friend/partner, you’re welcome to stay together too.

Question 3

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Comfortable clothes you can move in. Some people dress casually, others a bit dressier for the social — both are fine.

Question 4

What kind of shoes are best?

Accepted Answer

Smooth-soled shoes are recommended (so you can turn easily). Avoid heavy boots, flip-flops, or shoes with too much grip. Dance shoes are welcome but not required.

Question 5

How long is the class?

Accepted Answer

The lesson lasts about 45 minutes. Afterward, the floor opens up for social dancing so you can practice and enjoy.

Question 6

Is there parking?

Accepted Answer

Yes, free parking is available near the venue.

Question 7

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Classes + social are typically $15 per person (includes both lesson and dancing all night).

Question 8

Is there food or a bar?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the venue has a full bar available. Food vendors are often present.

Question 9

What’s the atmosphere like?

Accepted Answer

Fun, social, and welcoming! Social 67 brings together dancers of all levels — from complete beginners to experienced social dancers. It’s the perfect place to learn, connect, and dance the night away.
