Utility Leadership Workshop:
A free workshop for NWHA and Waterpower Canada members
This utility-driven event brings together utility members facing shared challenges in transmission planning and workforce and field resources in protection, controls & telecommunications.
The workshop is a utility-to-utility exchange of what's working today across transmission planning; protection, controls & telecommunications; and digitalization, all within the real constraints of rates, regulation, and workforce. Sessions will focus on addressing the workforce shortage, developing and retaining system planners, and leveraging digitalization strategies.

Schedule:
Welcome Reception: Wednesday, November 18, 5:00–7:00 PM
Workshop: Thursday, November 19, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM (breakfast and lunch provided)
The workshop day opens with a full-group framing session on industry trends and workforce pressures, followed by morning and afternoon breakout streams and closing plenary discussion.
Cost:
NWHA and Waterpower Canada members: Free
Non-members: $550 CAD
Space is limited.
