Shed's Supper Club: Grilling in the Garden

There is something about a late July evening that makes you want to slow down and stay a little longer. That is exactly what we had in mind.

On Thursday, July 30th, Machine Shed Urbandale is hosting its next Supper Club dinner, a five-course menu built around peak-season flavors, the open flame, and everything a summer evening has to offer. Each course comes with optional drink pairings, from local craft beer to hand-selected wines and cocktails, so you can make the night as celebratory as you like.

The Menu

Welcome Cocktail Bourbon Smash featuring Shed's Revelton Rye Bourbon, mint, lemon juice, and simple syrup.

First Course Grilled sourdough with smoked tomato butter, charred corn, and bacon jam.

Second Course Charred heirloom tomato salad with fresh basil, marinated mozzarella, basil herb oil, and balsamic reduction.

Third Course Grilled salmon with peach and plum agrodolce and blistered green beans.

Fourth Course Grilled filet tip kabob with red onions, chanterelle mushrooms, peppers, eggplant, and sweet corn chimichurri.

Fifth Course S'more sundae with graham cracker ice, smoked chocolate ganache, toasted marshmallow whipped cream, and a grilled Bordeaux cherry.
