Spiritual Friendship: The Whole of the Path—An Insight Dialogue Retreat
There's a kind of friendship most of us quietly want but rarely find—one that holds us with warmth, and calls us toward our own liberation.
The Buddha called it kalyana-mitta, spiritual friendship, and considered it not a supplement to the path but the whole of it.
This non-residential retreat explores the theme of friendship through Insight Dialogue, a relational meditation practice that brings presence and authenticity into direct contact with another person. We'll draw on the Buddha's own teachings on friendship as our guide.
In doing so, we'll cultivate the very qualities that make this kind of friendship possible: presence, honesty, compassion, and the willingness to be genuinely known.
Open to all. No prior experience with relational meditation practice is required.
