This beginner‑friendly, hands‑on class is the perfect way to dive into the colorful world of meringue‑based baking.Guided by our expert instructor, you’ll learn how to whip glossy Italian meringue, fold batter to the perfect consistency, and pipe evenly sized macaron shells. You’ll bake them to delicate perfection, then fill them with a variety of decadent buttercreams, ganaches, or fruity fillings.Your ticket includes:<ul><li>Step‑by‑step instruction from start to finish</li><li>All ingredients and tools provided</li><li>How to make smooth, airy Italian macaron shells</li><li>Troubleshooting tips for perfect texture and appearance</li><li>Guidance on piping, baking, and filling</li><li>Take home your own box of handmade macarons</li><li>Printed recipes for recreating at home</li></ul>Students will work in small groups of up to 4 for a collaborative, hands‑on experience that’s equal parts educational and sweet.NY Cake Academy classes are held in our Manhattan flagship at 118 W 22nd St. All supplies and materials are included. Classes are hands‑on, interactive experiences.Please dress accordingly. We recommend casual clothing you don’t mind getting a little sugar on, and flat comfortable shoes. Open‑toed shoes and sandals are not recommended for safety reasons. Long hair should be tied back.Plan to arrive 10 minutes before class start time. Class will start promptly at the listed time. Important: Participants who arrive more than 15 minutes late will not be allowed to join the class and will forfeit their tuition. No refunds or rescheduling will be permitted.

NY Cake Academy Classes are not eligible for refunds, however classes are transferrable.All Bookings receive a confirmation immediately after booking. Please notify <a href="mailto:custom@nycakeacadeny.com" title="mailto:custom@nycakeacadeny.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">custom@nycakeacadeny.com</a> if you do not receive a confirmation email. Students are responsible to ensure they receive and read their confirmation email. All supplies are included unless stated in the class description.If you would like to change a class date, you may do so by emailing <a href="mailto:custom@nycakeacademy.com" title="mailto:custom@nycakeacademy.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">custom@nycakeacademy.com</a> 48 hours in advance. Please be sure to include the full name of the registered student, class confirmation number and class you wish to transfer into. If we do not receive an email from you stating you cannot make the class, your payment is forfeited. There is a 1 time courtesy makeup of a missed class. Please be sure you can make the new date and time before requesting a switch. If you do not show up to your makeup class, your tuition is forfeited.If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, inclement weather or another circumstance beyond our control (power outage, facility issues, etc), we will contact you with as much advance notice as possible by email or telephone and issue you a refund to the original form of payment.We will make every effort to run the class as long as it is safe to do so. If we make the decision to run the class and you decide not to come, you will not be able to get a refund, but we will offer you a credit for future use valid for 1 year.
