From pale Provençal pours to vibrant expressions bursting with flavor, the beloved seasonal wine style of rosé is far more diverse than most people realize. Get ready for an intimate evening of tasting, storytelling, and discovery in one of the Lower East Side's sweetest secret spaces.

Join New York Adventure Club for a special rosé tasting experience in the hidden backyard of Roni-Sue's Chocolates, where we'll explore the history, production methods, and remarkable range of rosé wines from around the world.

Led by Level 4 Sommelier Amy Karasavas, our unique experience will include:

• An introduction to rosé wine, including its history, growing popularity, and the many styles produced around the world
• A guided tasting of four carefully selected rosés, showcasing a variety of grapes, regions, and winemaking techniques
• A discussion of how rosé is made, from direct pressing and saignée methods to the factors that influence color, aroma, and flavor
• An exploration of key rosé-producing regions, from Southern France and Italy to emerging producers creating exciting new expressions of the style
• A curated chocolate pairing, designed to complement and enhance the unique flavor profiles of each rosé

*We highly recommend eating beforehand as the only food provided during this experience is the chocolate served as part of the tasting.

About Amy

Amy Karasavas received her sommelier certification from the Sommelier Society of America in 2018. In 2025, she completed her Diploma with the WSET. She is currently studying to become a Master of Burgundy. She has traveled to some of the world’s famous wine regions, including Napa Valley, Burgundy, Bordeaux, the Loire Valley, Portugal’s Douro Valley, Chile'ss Maipo Valley, Greece, Tuscany, the Finger Lakes, and many regions of Spain.
