Esseks is the bass music project of Brooklyn-based producer, musician, and visual artist Sam Eckstein, known for crafting dark, off-kilter electronic music with a playful, cartoon-villain edge. Blending dubstep, experimental bass, glitchy textures, and psychedelic sound design, Esseks has built a distinct creative world where heavy low-end production meets surreal visual art.

Since emerging in the dance music scene with releases dating back to the early 2010s, Esseks has developed an extensive catalog across labels including Wakaan, Deadbeats, Gravitas Recordings, Subcarbon, Saturate, Foundations Recordings, and Smokers Cough. His work has also included collaborations with artists like Yheti, helping establish him as a respected name in the left-field bass community.
