Overview

Super Saturday: Culture as Medicine — Move, drum, fight & flow! Intergenerational community classes for ages 7+. Join one or all four!

Super Saturday Community Classes Culture as Medicine

Healing doesn't always look like a doctor's office. Sometimes it looks like a drum circle, a martial arts stance, a deep breath, or a full-body dance. Our Super Saturday Community Classes bring together four ancient, living traditions in one powerful morning — open to everyone ages 7 and up, from the youngest learner to the eldest elder.

Power Chi Energetics ignites your full-body energy through the fusion of chi-kung, yoga, and African dance. Kupigana Ngumi connects participants to humanity's oldest martial traditions, cultivating the warrior-scholar within. Intro to Hand Drums with Danny Ogun invites beginners to find their rhythm — and their live drumming will pulse as living accompaniment to the martial arts class unfolding beside them. Neigong offers a quieter medicine: slow, sweeping Heaven Circle movements that unwind the spine, open the breath, and restore inner stillness.

Come for one class or stay for all four. No experience needed — only the willingness to show up. This is community as classroom, and culture as the cure.
