Single Signature Sampler

Inspired by needlework samplers, this 3 hour class explores several decorative sewing patterns for single signature books. Building on a simple pamphlet stitch, students will learn several stitches and execute them on a single, multi-signature book. The result is a decorative and functional book that serves as both reference for sewing, as well a specimen of achievement in and of itself. Students have the option to purchase a kit from the instructor or gather and prep the necessary supplies themselves.
