Kids Event:  Mark the Wall–Exhibition Design + Craft Room Display

A new exhibition is opening at the Bawa Space and we are inviting our vibrant kids community to help us decorate the craft room.

Focusing on the new <a href="https://geoffreybawa.com/akurugraphy" title="https://geoffreybawa.com/akurugraphy" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Arkurugraphy </a>exhibition, this interactive session uses storytelling and art to explore how exhibitions are designed and the unique roles of different people involved in the process.Arkurugraphy examines the history, development, and application of Sinhala, Tamil, and Latin typography in Sri Lanka and showcases letterforms across the three languages through typography, archival research, software development, and script standardisationThe children will then be invited to contribute a piece of typography-inspired work to be displayed in the Bawa Space craft room.
