What size cutting board can I make?

Any size up to 12 in x 12 in.

Can I choose my own design? What woods can I use?

Accepted Answer

We will have cherry, walnut, and maple woods you may use. You may choose your own design!

Question 3

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

You must wear closed-toe shoes. Please wear comfortable clothing, but not too loose so it doesn't get stuck on tools. Note we do not have AC in the woodshop.

Question 4

What is your cancellation/refund policy?

Accepted Answer

We do not allow refunds. However, if for any reason you cannot make it to your paddle class, we can change your registration to a different class date. Please contact us at info@urbanboatbuilders.org or 651-644-9225 at least 7 days before your scheduled class date to request a date change.

Question 5

How do I take care of my cutting board?

Accepted Answer

Hand wash only. To maintain, oil the board with food grade mineral oil once every month.
