This Spring / Summer, join us for our ongoing exploration series during open studio hours at 9S. This is a freestyle session designed for ease, creativity, and exploration. Every month offers an opportunity to explore different painting mediums, materials, and techniques in a relaxed and welcoming environment. No experience is needed and there’s no pressure to keep up or create something “perfect". Ages 16 and up.Come to:<ul><li>Experiment with different mediums</li><li>Create at your own pace/ Low pressure</li><li>Receive light guidance</li><li>Reconnect with creativity in a fun setting</li><li>Paint freely</li></ul>Whether you’re a beginner, returning to art after time away, or simply looking for a softer creative experience, this 3 hour open studio freestyle exploration session is not a traditional guided workshop. It is for those who want to explore without pressure... and with a little music to set the vibes!Name: "Freestyle Open Studio: Exploration Series"Explore with Acrylic Inks: "Freestyle Abstract Acrylics"Date: Sunday, June 14, 2026Open studio hours: 11am- 2pm | Duration: 3 hoursIn this session, you will be creating your own abstract painting while exploring freely with acrylic Inks and acrylic paints! Here's what to expect:<ul><li>Each participant will have access to acrylic paints, inks and materials that are specific to the theme of the session and incorporated into your abstract painting</li><li>3 hours to explore and create at your own pace (during open studio hours)</li><li>No pressure w/ light guidance</li><li>Bring your own snacks ( PEANUT FREE)</li></ul>Leave with whatever the process gives you!Please Note:This Open Studio session is 3 hours long. You must register in advance to participate. If we are not at capacity, we will accept walk-ins.
