Through day-to-day advocacy, education, and working partnerships with government and community agencies, the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition is dedicated to creating safer streets and more livable communities for all San Franciscans.Our active members represent San Franciscans of all ages, from all neighborhoods, who are working towards more safe, efficient, and green ways to move around our city. The SF Bicycle Coalition is the largest city-based bicycle advocacy group in the nation and one of the largest membership-based groups in San Francisco.The San Francisco Bicycle Coalition promotes the bicycle for everyday transportation.

Join us at the SFBike office for an evening of bike repair!

Is your bike in need of a tune-up, but you just haven't had the time to take it down to the shop? Are you curious to learn more about the inner workings of your trusty set of wheels in a fun, social setting? Join us for a brand new event, our Member Repair Party on April 30 at 5pm at the SFBike offices at 1720 Market Street!This will be a welcoming space where riders of all skill levels can work on their bikes, learn repair techniques, and connect with the SFBike community. By empowering participants with practical bike repair knowledge, we aim to foster self-reliance and help more people learn the ins and the outs of bike maintenance and repair. Tools will be provided, but you can bring your own to use, too.This event is free to all active members to attend, and we are taking a $10 suggested donation at the door to help support the ongoing work of SFBike.
