Do I need to bring my ticket with me on the night?

Please bring your ticket(s) with you so that our check-in team can scan your QR code(s). You can either show these on your phone or print them out, whichever you prefer.

I'm running late! Is it ok if I still arrive after the start of the screening?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you're welcome to join us anytime! Just be aware we do start each screening promptly so please be courteous to your fellow film lovers and choose a seat quickly and quietly once you arrive.

Are tickets refundable?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are refunded on a case by case basis and refunds must be requested at least 48 hours in advance of the event to be considered.

Can tickets be purchased on the night?

Yes, if the event hasn't sold out by then, tickets are available via our festival check in table. Please ask our volunteers for details.

Having trouble finding the cinema?

The Lumiere is situated on the 3rd floor of the Mercury Shopping Centre. Once you find yourself in the centre, just go up!

Where can I park?

Accepted Answer

The best place for parking is the Mercury & Asda Car Park (97 Western Rd, Romford RM1 3LS). Enter the car park and drive up to the second floor for the quickest access to the cinema.

Is the Cinema step-free?

Accepted Answer

For visitors who require step-free access, this is available by taking the Mercury Shopping Centre lifts up to Level 3. On leaving the lift take a sharp left to the silver set of doors to the left of the Mecca entrance. Ring the black doorbell and a member of Lumiere staff will let you in.

What is the age limit for this event?

The majority of this event is 18+, the exception being the feature film screening of "JINX" which is rated a 12A. Our volunteers and Lumiere staff reserve the right to check a valid ID on the night to confirm all guests are able to join us.
