Do I need to have attended previous sessions to join Session 3?

Accepted Answer

No. Each session is designed to stand on its own. You'll get more from the series if you attend in order, but Session 3 is accessible to first-timers. No prior experience with storytelling is required.

I attended a previous session. How do I get my 20% discount?

Accepted Answer

You should have received a code by email after your last session. If you can't find it, contact us before purchasing, and we'll get it to you.

Question 3

What do I need to participate?

Accepted Answer

A Zoom-enabled device with a working camera and microphone, a quiet-enough space, and something to write with. You don't need any storytelling experience, preparation, or a story ready to go — we'll work with whatever you have.

Question 4

Will I have to perform in front of the group?

Accepted Answer

Participation in the mini-story portion is by volunteer. You will never be put on the spot. That said, most people who come planning to watch end up wanting to try.

Question 5

How many people will be in the session?

Accepted Answer

Sessions are kept small — typically 10 to 16 participants — to allow for real practice and meaningful feedback.
