Bellingham Makersapce is a volunteer run non-profit creative workshop that provides access to tools, education, technology, professional development, and a vibrant community of collaborative people.  Active membership, classes, and donations allow us to continue to provide the valuable resource to the community.  We encourage people to share their skills and interests through volunteering, teaching, or membership.

Learn 3D printing fundamentals and 3D print an object for yourself!

Participants will learn the fundamentals of 3D printing, including sourcing 3D models, slicing, and safe operation of our Ender 3D printers. Each participant will select and print a model to take home.Makerspace members will be approved to use the 3D printers after taking this class.Prerequisites: NoneMin/max registrations: 2-4Instructor Bio: Quinn Williams has been volunteering as a 3D printing tool champion for 2 years and has experience operating, building and fixing all of our printers. Some instructors offer scholarship discounts and volunteers may be eligible for training discounts.Cancellations: All classes have a minimum number of participants. If the instructor specified number is not reached 24hrs before the class is scheduled to start, the class will be cancelled and any registrations refunded (Eventbrite fees are non refundable).Refund policy: You may request a refund from Eventbrite no later than 24hrs before the class starts (Eventbrite fees are non refundable). After that point instructors and participants are committed and we won't be able to provide any refunds.Other FAQs<ul><li>When and where to arrive? Please arrive 5-15min early for sign-in. Park outside Dick's Sporting Goods. Enter the mall through Dick's, Makerspace is the first on the right.</li><li>Is there an age limit? Under 18 must attend with an adult ASSISTANT.
