What is a playshop?

A playshop is like a workshop, but without the formality. We learn here through play. Although there's often a spaceholder and/or a guide, we encourage creative exploration aka play every step of the way.

Will I leave this playshop with a ready-to-go brand?

Accepted Answer

You will not leave with a ready-to-go brand, but you will leave with a deeper sense of where to start with your branding. You will have solid creative resourcing practices that will keep you steady as you embark on the greater journey of brand development and design.

Question 3

Will a replay be available?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a replay will be provided to everyone who is registered. While a full replay will only be shared with the participants who attend live, a partial replay will be shared for everyone registered.

Question 4

Will cameras be on during the playshop?

Accepted Answer

Cameras are optional during the movement practice portion of the event for comfortability. However, it is requested that cameras be on for the sharing portion at the end of the event to aid in creating a brave and secure space. If at any time you will to share without being recorded, we will pause.

Question 5

Is this a live playshop?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this 90 minute playshop is happening virtually via zoom live on Friday, August 28th at 1pm. Although a replay will be provided, attendance is encouraged for the full benefit of the creative connection and instruction. We will send daily home play invitations beginning on Monday before the event

Question 6

Am I required to participate?

Accepted Answer

For the email home play, you are invited to engage as fully as you are willing. On the day of our playshop, we will facilitate a full experience that will be beneficial with any level of prior play. Individual participation is necessary for you to receive what you are here to uncover.

Question 7

Am I required to share about my experience?

Accepted Answer

There is an optional space for sharing about your experience. You are not required to speak, and silence is welcome. Facilitators will ask if you would like to speak, and you are free to pass at any time. Sharing will aid in your creative resourcing practice when you are open and available for it.

Question 8

What is expected of me in this playshop?

Accepted Answer

We will review a few agreements at the top of our playshop to ensure a shared sense of safety and community. Elizabeth Shepley provides trauma-informed facilitation, and any violation of another's humanity in this space will result in immediate removal from the playshop.
