Ubuntu Rising: A Youth Leadership Summit for Africa's Health Future

Ubuntu Rising: A Youth Leadership Summit for Africa's Health Future

Overview

The Africa Health Collaborative to Host Ubuntu Rising Ahead of the 18th World Congress on Public Health

Ubuntu Rising is the Africa Health Collaborative’s youth side event, taking place ahead of the 18th World Congress on Public Health (WCPH) in Cape Town.

The event builds on the Africa Health Collaborative's investment in young people as the future of Africa's health systems by creating a platform for them to shape the policies, priorities, and solutions that will define the continent's health future.

Bringing together young African health professionals, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, and higher education institutions, this full-day working session will co-create practical recommendations across three priority areas: Youth Leadership, Youth Employment, and Youth Innovation.

The outcomes of the session will form the AHC Youth Agenda—a strategic roadmap that will inform the Africa Health Collaborative's advocacy, partnerships, and programs while amplifying youth voices in regional and global health platforms.

Who should attend:

Young health professionals, scholars, innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, youth leaders, and policy makers. Participation is limited to registered participants of the 18th World Congress on Public Health.
