No, the I Am Poetry Open Mic Show is open to all forms of creative expression! While poetry is the heart of the event, we welcome a variety of performances, including:
Poetry, Music, Dance, & Comedy

Is there seating?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we do have seating available, but it’s first come, first served. We also have designated standing areas throughout the venue. Feel free to bring your own chairs for extra comfort.

How to become a vendor at our show?

Accepted Answer

To become a vendor, you must submit a vendor’s application on our website: www.iampoetry.shop and once approved, submit your vendor’s fee.

Question 4

How do I check in to perform?

Accepted Answer

Once you arrive at the event, check in at the entrance by signing the performers list to confirm your arrival. That list will lock in the order you’ll be performing. If you have music, please make sure it’s sent in and check in with the DJ before you perform to confirm he has it and knows the order

Weather Policy?

Please keep in mind that this is an outdoor event. The show will continue rain or shine, heat or cold, so we encourage everyone to dress appropriately for the weather and bring anything needed to stay comfortable.
