Built To Last Closing Reception

The Peale Center for Baltimore History and Architecture, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is restoring the oldest museum building in the United States in partnership with the City of Baltimore. Through its programs, the Peale Center will illuminate the authentic stories of Baltimore's people and places while reinventing the urban museum in the creative and innovative spirit of its founder, artist Rembrandt Peale.

Join us in person for the closing reception of Built To Last, a juried exhibition reflecting on Baltimore's built environment, its historic buildings and monuments. Exhibiting artists bring their own creative vision, bold colors, thoughtful composition, and expressive form. Built To Last invites viewers to recognize Baltimore's iconic landmarks, the stories they carry, and how we can collectivelty build the future within them. <ul><li>Meet the artists and organizers</li><li>Experience the works one final time</li><li>Celebrate award-winning artists</li><li>Engage in thoughtful conversation around architecture, history, community, and Baltimore's landscape. </li></ul>This closing reception offers a more intimate opportunity to reflect, connect, and celebrate the cumulation of this impactful exhibition. Award winners will be annouced as well!Whether you've visited before or are experiencing it for the first time, this is your last chance to witness this work in person. Admission is free.
