Is the event free to attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Admission to the Monterey Square Wine and Arts Fair is free. Guests may enjoy the live music, art, vendors, food and other activities at no charge. A ticket is only required to participate in the wine tasting.

Question 2

Will wine-tasting tickets cost more on the day of the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Wine-tasting packages purchased on the day of the event will cost $10 more than advance-purchase packages. We recommend purchasing early to receive the best price and help reduce wait times at check-in.

Question 3

Can I pick up my wine-tasting package before the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes. During the week before the event, purchasers may pick up their own package at the Wharton Chamber of Commerce during regular business hours. A valid photo ID is required, and packages may only be released to the person whose name appears on the order.

Question 4

Is alcohol consumption limited to guests age 21 and older?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Anyone participating in the wine tasting, sampling craft beer or consuming alcohol at the event must be 21 or older. A valid government-issued photo ID will be required.

Are there activities for guests of all ages?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Monterey Square Wine and Arts Fair offers activities and entertainment for all ages, including live music, art, shopping, food vendors and family-friendly attractions.

Can I win free wine-tasting tickets?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Free wine-tasting tickets will be offered through giveaways on the Monterey Square Wine and Arts Fair Facebook page. Follow and like the page for giveaway announcements. Winners will pick up their tickets at the event and must present a valid photo ID.
