New Members Guided Walk - Frost Fish Creek

New Members Guided Walk - Frost Fish Creek

Overview

Frost Fish Creek Trail Walk

New Members Walk: Frost Fish Creek Trail

Date and Time: Tuesday, June 30th at 10:00am

Distance: 1.1 mile

New to CCF? Join the Chatham Conservation Foundation Land Stewardship Team for a guided walk along one of our most popular trails: the Frost Fish Creek Trail.

The trail meanders along the eastern edge of Frost Fish Creek, where walkers can enjoy views of a former cranberry operation that has naturally reverted to open wetlands. Bring your binoculars for a chance to spot some of the “winter locals” of Frost Fish Creek, including buffleheads and other waterfowl.

This special program is offered exclusively to members who have joined within the past year and provides a wonderful opportunity to learn "on site" about the mission and conservation work of the Foundation you support.

Parking:

Parking is available at the Monomoy Regional Middle School at 425 Crowell Road, Chatham.

Please Note:

  • The walk will be cancelled in the case of inclement weather.
