How do I sign up to speak during public comment?

You must select the Public Comment Registration ticket during Eventbrite registration and submit your comment topic as part of the registration form.

When is the deadline to register for public comment?

Registration for public comment closes 24 hours prior to the meeting start time. No same-day or in-meeting requests to speak will be accepted.

How long can I speak during public comment?

Each speaker is limited to three (3) minutes.

Public comment occurs at the beginning of the meeting, before the Board proceeds with its agenda.

Not necessarily. Participation in public comment does not guarantee that your topic will be discussed or addressed during the meeting.

All public comments are entered into the official record and provided to the Board of Directors for consideration at a future meeting, as appropriate.
