Guided History Walk in the Alewife Brook Reservation
Join Green Cambridge for a guided walk on the early history of the Alewife Brook Reservation.
On June 10th from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM Green Cambridge will be hosting a free guided tour highlighting the history of the Alewife Brook Reservation.
Join us as we learn about how the early history of the Alewife, from Indigenous stewardship to industrial land use, has shaped its current landscape.

Note to participants: This will be a one-and-a-half-hour-long walking tour with limited opportunities to sit.

Event: Alewife History Walk
Date: Wednesday, June 10th, 6 PM - 7:30 PM
Transporation Instructions: Location is accessible from the Alewife T station, a short ~ 3 minute walk from the north side of the station, where Alewife Station Access Rd and Steel Place intersect. Parking is available at the station for a fee. Free 2-hour parking for the Alewife is located at 2-8 Acorn Park Dr, Cambridge, MA 02140. Leave the parking lot and walk down the Discovery Park pathway towards Alewife Station Access Rd, then take a left and walk to the entrance of the reservation.
Participants are encouraged to bring water and weather-appropriate clothes.
