Is the Lido entrance fee included ?

Yes, your sauna ticket includes full entry to Ilkley Lido for the duration of your booking, giving you access to both the lido and sauna throughout your session

What should I bring to my session?

Swimwear is mandatory… for obvious reasons. ?

We'd recommend bringing water, stay hydrated and two towels, one to sit on in the sauna and another for drying yourself afterwards. Flip flops / sliders also a great idea
 Most importantly, come ready to relax, unwind, warm up, cool down, and enjoy.

Question 3

How many people could be in my sauna session ?

We limit each sauna session to six guests to keep the experience relaxed, comfortable, and enjoyable for everyone. We can squeeze a couple more in, but we’ve found six is the sweet spot for the best sauna experience.

What are the benefits of the sauna and cold water cycle?

Accepted Answer

Moving between the sauna’s wood-fired heat and refreshing cold water dips helps boost circulation, support recovery, reduce stress, improve mood, and release feel-good endorphins. It’s a natural reset for both body and mind  leaving you relaxed, clear-headed, and absolutely buzzing afterwards.

Do you have those funky looking sauna hats and what are they for?

Yes and they’re surprisingly useful.  Sauna hats help regulate temperature around your head, protecting it from overheating while keeping your body comfortable in the heat. They also look brilliantly Nordic and slightly ridiculous, which we fully support.

Do I need previous sauna experience?

Not at all  our sessions are designed for everyone, from first-timers to seasoned sauna lovers. Just relax, listen to your body, and enjoy the experience at your own pace.

Question 7

How hot does the sauna get?

Accepted Answer

We usually run the sauna at around 90°C  the sweet spot for that deep heat and many of the health benefits linked to traditional sauna bathing. Expect glowing skin, a racing cold plunge debate in your head, and a proper full-body reset.

Question 8

Can I leave and re-enter during my session?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We encourage guests to move between the sauna, fresh air, and cold water throughout the session that’s all part of the experience
