Craft with us in the parks! Make a single potholder or get hooked and make multiples for a picnic blanket, bleacher cushion, yoga mat etc.

West Foster Avenue & North Simonds Drive

<p>Take advantage of the Chicago summer while still learning a new craft! Every Wednesday, we will be popping up at parks across Chicago, encouraging people to join us and make tangible memories through craft. The series will introduce people to weaving by creating a potholder using a simple peg loom. Make one, or come to all four sessions in June and combine your weavings to create a bleacher cushion, yoga mat, or even your own picnic blanket! Attendees can choose to purchase a loom or use one of ours, no strings attached (pun intended).</p><p>All materials are provided, no experience necessary, and great for ages 8 and up! Limited chairs will be available, so feel free to bring a blanket or a chair as well as a snack to share and a drink to stay cool.  Look for a white tent just south of the soccer fields at Foster Beach for this event.</p>
