A Disability led Self-Advocacy Conference ran by members of New Wave Bass Coast & South Gippsland which is a Self-Advocacy group.

Cape Paterson Surf Life Saving Club

New Wave Bass Coast &amp; South Gippsland Self-Advocacy group is proud to host and invite you to the Our Voice, Our Power Self-Advocacy Conference. Self Advocacy is about speaking up for your rights as a person with a disability.At this event you will hear Self Advocates:-Show or talk about their work and achievements-Speak about what they have learnt along the way-Speak up about having a voice and rights like anyone else-Share their story or rescources that help to speak up! This event is for people with a Disability who live in the Gippsland area, tickets are FREE and are limited and a priority for those with a disability.Please include your carer in the number of tickets you need,if you have have a carer/support work.Lunch will be provided so please add your dietary needs when registering. Due to catering, ticket registration will stop on July 7th.PARKING: Please note there is plenty of free parking on site however it is recommended if any attendees need to be driven up to the venue door, it is a short driveway.Attendees can exit the viehicle in this area, however the vehicle then needs to park in the car park as there is not parking directly at the door.There will be event staff at the entry who can guide attendees and drivers.
