Nope. There's no assigned reading — just a love of books in general, or a willingness to fake it convincingly.

Can I come by myself?

Absolutely. A lot of people do, and the afternoon is specifically designed so that solo attendees meet people naturally. Our host will make sure of it.

Do I need to drink wine?

Not at all. We'll have a full selection of non-alcoholic options available throughout the afternoon.

What should I bring?

A book to swap if you'd like to participate, and something comfortable for a Sonoma summer afternoon:  layers in the morning, warm by noon. Sunscreen is never a bad idea!

Is there parking?

Yes, ample, free parking is available onsite at Sangiacomo Wines; however, we always encourage carpooling if coming with friends!

Is this just for Novel Pairings members?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. No prior membership required — everyone is welcome.

Question 7

How many people will be there?

Accepted Answer

We're keeping it intentionally small — between 50 and 75 guests — so it feels comfortable and genuinely social rather than overwhelming.
