Give Yourself Some Love on the New Buck Moon
Gather with new friends to explore forgiveness as a form of self love. We’ll journal, move our bodies, and get crafty.
July’s Buck Moon is named for the rapid growth of deer antlers at this time of year. To offset this energetic cost, deer shed their antlers annually. So on this night when the moon is dark, what do you need to shed to invite in new growth?
Together, we’ll reframe forgiveness from something we owe others, to a gift we offer our own hearts. I’ll lead you through some guided journal prompts. We’ll do a little gentle stretching and shaking it out to let go of whatever has come up. And then the rest of the evening will be spent in craft mode: drawing self-portraits of our hearts.
If you’re ready to practice self-love through forgiveness and celebrate your beautiful heart, this event is for you.
Bring a journal and pen. Paper and coloring materials will be provided, but if you have supplies you like to use, please feel free to bring them!
