Your glass creation will be ready for pickup the following business day. 12noon to close. Tue-Sun. That is our GAI commitment to you. No calls and emails are necessary.All sessions will start by 5 minutes past the posted start of the class.https://www.eventbrite.com/o/glass-arts-indiana-18425388149Each person is required to have their own ticket to participate in any GAI activity.Please arrive10-15 minutes prior to the session.Instructors will start no later than 5 minutes after the posted start time.GAI staff will determine if you may join the session or if you forfeit your ticket/place in the class. If it is determined that you are too late, and you have missed the introductory safety and process demonstration, this will hinder your ability to function in the session and to keep our staff, our studio and equipment , and then you safe, GAI will not allow you to be part of the session. NO refund or carrying of your ticket value will be honored.Check your GPS, prior to your event date. Entry is at Indy Fused Glass or at the main entry. A single man entry door to the left of Indy Fused Glass. Follow the interior signs to the GAI Studio. Factory Arts District is an old factory...the one way street is Brookside Ave. On the left is Indy Fused Glass. There is a Silver Sign above this door listing some of the businesses inside the Factory Arts District-FAD building. There is a ground level parking lot directly across from this door. GAI@FAD is halfway between Centerpoint Brewery and Fowling Warehouse.The studio can get hot, so please dress accordingly.Lite-weight cotton T-shirts and blue jeans or shorts work well. Wear tennis shoes or walking shoes. NO FLIPFLOPS or HIGH HEELS!No synthetic clothing!! NO leggings!! No workout clothing or yoga wear!In this workshop our instructor/s will guide you through studio basics in safety and process and then give a demonstration on the hot glass furnace-worked piece you will be making. You will then have the opportunity to gather molten glass from a 2100-degree furnace. You will get to choose your colors and sculpt molten glass into a beautiful and unique creation of your own. Your creation will have to cool down slowly overnight and will be available to pick up a couple of days later. If you have a personal pair of safety glasses or prescription glasses, please bring them. Otherwise, we have some to lend out in the studio. You must be 10 years of age or older to participate.Cancellation and Refund Policies:Here at Glass Arts Indiana, Inc. we value you and your business and want to create an environment that is safe and conducive to learning, while having an enjoyable time.
