Rooted In The Rye: The Story of Kentucky Grain, Bourbon, & Hospitality

Celebrate National Bourbon Week in the heart of Bardstown with an evening rooted in Kentucky tradition, hospitality, and whiskey culture. Rooted in the Rye brings together bourbon lovers, food enthusiasts, and music fans for a one-night experience hosted during the downtown street festival and live concert series.

Doors open at 4:30PM at Bespoke in Bond. Guests will begin the evening with a welcome reception, complete with a bar and Preservation Distillery will be on site to offer tastings, before settling in for a special presentation from Kentucky farmer Quint Pottinger of Affinity Farms. Quint will share the story behind Kentucky grain farming, the role rye plays in whiskey production, and the journey of seeing his grain transformed into bourbon. Guests will also enjoy a featured pour of Quint Pottinger’s first Kentucky Rye release with Preservation Distillery, along with additional Preservation tastings throughout the evening.
